This two story Greek Revival structure was built by wealthy planter Colonel Isaac Croom in 1840 and was later the boyhood home of Croom's nephew, Ruchmond Pearson Hobson, a hero in the Spanish-American War. The house is furnished with original pieces belonging to the Croom and Hobson families.
