Located on North Westnedge Avenue just five miles north of Kalamazoo, this 1,132 acre preserve illustrates the area's natural history through interpretive exhibits, including a tropical sun/rain room and ten times life size multi-sensory exhibits. The center offers nature trails and an arboretum with a hummingbird and butterfly garden. A restored pioneer homestead is open during special events. Tours are available by appointment.
Open Monday through Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 1pm-5pm; closed major holidays.
