Prehistoric Indian site encompasses 12 mounds containing evidence of 850 A.D.-1450 A.D. culture. Interpretive displays and artifacts. Located in eastern Oklahoma in Sequoyah County 2.5 miles east and 3.5 miles north of Spiro on W.D. Mayo Lock & Dam Road off SR 9. Open to the public Wednesday-Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
