A 258-acre park located on Highway 20, 14 miles east of Sweet Home on the South Santiam River, Cascadia features 25 primitive Camping sites and two group camping areas. Visitors will also find a unique soda water spring with a hand pump. A 3/4 mile trail leads visitors to Soda Creek Waterfalls, and another trail ambles along the South Santiam River. Swimming, Fishing and Birds may be found along the river. For Birders, this site offers a low-elevation mixed conifer forest with Broad-leaved Maple and dense shrubby. Among the species seen in this area are; American Dipper, Rufous Hummingbird, Hermit and Black-throated Gray Warbler, Pacific-slope Flycatcher, Winter-Wren and Varied Thrush.
