Mount Hood Meadows

World Class Skiing in Your Own Backyard

Search Mt Hood Oregon

For 30 years, Mt Hood Meadows has been exciting skiers and snowboarders with Oregon's most varied and challenging terrain. From its inception, January 26, 1968, when two chairlifts offered service to five trails, Meadows has become the perfect mountain, offering distinctive trails ranging from smooth, slightly graded runs in our beginners' area to the steeps in Heather Canyon.

Ten chairlifts including four high speed quads now provide access to 82 trails over 2150 acres of Oregon's best terrain. The present night skiing operation itself offers more lifts, trails, terrain and vertical than what Meadows featured in its entirety 30 years ago.

Meadows has always had the natural advantage of being located on the sunny, wind-protected east side of Mt Hood. Abundant snowfall assures long seasons extending from November into May.
