United States

The United States of America is the most populous country in the Western Hemisphere and has the largest economy in the world. Its vast geography extends across more than 120 degrees of longitude, and includes both Arctic and tropical climates

The United States was formed from thirteen of the British colonies in North America. There are now 50 states, of which Alaska is the largest and California the most populous.
