Standing 605 feet high, the Space Needle has been Seattle's most visable landmark since it was built as the centerpiece for the 1962 World's Fair.

An observation deck at the 520-foot level provides panoramic views of the city, Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, and the Cascade and Olympic mountains. Telescopes are available on the outside deck walkway.

SkyCity restaurant at the 500-foot level lets diner's enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of Seattle and the surrounding area. SkyCity revolves on a 14-foot wide turntable which makes one complete revolution each hour.

The menu features Northwest cuisine including homemade soups, hearty cuts of meat, salmon and fresh seafood prepared in a variety of ways, and the famous Lunar Orbiter dessert.

SpaceBase, the Space Needle's retail store, is located at ground level and features many custom-designed products, clothes, and specialty items.
