This wilderness observatory is located 35 southeast of Wrangell and is managed by the USFS. It can be reached only by boat or floatplane. During July and August, nature lovers can watch bears catch the abundant pink salmon in the creek.
Also feeding on the fish as they head upstream to their spawning grounds are bald eagles, ravens, crows and seals. Contact the USFS or Wrangell Visitor Center for a list of approved guides.
