The Brooks Range is the northernmost set of mountains in Alaska, located above the Arctic Circle and extending over 700 miles across the entire width of Alaska from the Bering Sea to the Beaufort Sea in Canada.
The Continental Divide runs through the Brooks Range. The range is home to a variety of wildlife, including Dall's Sheep, eagles, grizzly bears, caribou, and wolves.
Ninteen million acres of the range are preserved in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
