Coffman Cove is located in P. of Wales-Outer Ketchikan Census Area on Prince of Wales Island. Coffman Cove is a village of 254 residents. It was once one of the largest independent logging camps in Southeast Alaska. Canoe Lagoon Oyster Co. is the state's oldest and largest producer.

Coffman Cove is an invaluable archaeological site. Tlingit house remains have been discovered, as well as human burials.
