Halibut Cove is a small community located in Kachemak Bay State Park just twelve miles from Homer. Visitors can stroll the boardwalk, visit art galleries and eat at The Saltry restaurant (reservations are required). There is no road access to Halibut Cove. Boats and floatplanes are the primary methods of transportation. Kachemak Bay Ferry Service provides transportation from Homer.
