Matanuska Glacier is the largest glacier in Alaska which is accessible by car. The glacier is 25 miles long and four miles wide, and advances at one foot per day. Visitors can hike out on the glacier for exploration.
The glacier is accessible through an all-season park, which charges a small entrance fee.
