Reid State Technical College is a two-year public institution, operating under state control, located in Evergreen, Conecuh County, at a site within the city limits at the intersection of Interstate 65 and Highway 83. This is a center point from which a six-county area is served consisting of Conecuh County, Escambia County, Monroe County, and portions of Butler County, Covington County, and Wilcox County. Total enrollment is approximately 700 and their varied programs lead to associates degrees.
