Bishop State Community College is a state-supported, open-admission, urban community college located in Mobile, Alabama. The College consists of four city campuses, dedicated to serving the residents of Mobile and Washington counties in southwest Alabama. BSCC is part of the Alabama College System, the state-supported network of two-year community, junior, and technical colleges that serves the residents of Alabama.
The Main Campus of Bishop State Community College located at 351 North Broad Street is the original campus of the College, and is the seat of operations for all four campuses. It is comprised of eight buildings and an office complex.
The Minnie Slade Bishop Library has about 75,000 volumes, contains library staff offices, a general reading room and laboratories for instruction. .
Their programs lead to associates degrees.
Athletic scholarships are given in basketball, baseball and other sports.
