Moody is located in St. Clair County (North Region), between Birmingham and Ashville on Highway 411 placing it as part of the Birmingham, Alabama metro area.
The city is full of history with the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum nearby in the area. This and many other museums are great places to view the past of the city.
The city also has excellent recreational facilities with many major golf courses and the Logan Martin Lake for fishing and boating.
Education in the area is a top priority via the Moody Elementary, Moody Middle, Moody Jr High and Moody High School providing higher education to all the students.
