Ozark is located in Dale County (Southeast Region), 15 miles NW of Dothan along Highway 105 near Fort Rucker Military Reservation placing it as part of the Dothan, Alabama metro area.
Some of the local attractions in the area include the Carillon & Bell Tower, Claybank Church, Confederate Soldier, Eagle Stadium, Kidzone at Steagall Park, Ed Lisenby Public Lake & Walking Trail, and the Panther Creek Golf Club.
The city is full of history with the Veterans Memorial Bridge and the Dowling Museum/Ann Rudd Arts Center. These are excellent places for finding the history of the city and the past of the area.
