Library, serving an area of 24,000 residents, has a collection of 7,800 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 12 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 260 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes. Staffing consists of one employee, including one fully accredited librarian, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $8,400. Patrons make 63,000 visits annually, and check out materials 7,200 times. Sixty-three percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
