From its inception in 1952, Central has been a junior college. When the need became apparent for a senior college in religious studies, such programs were inaugurated; and recently other Bachelor degree programs (namely pastoral studies, church music, youth ministries, and Christian Counseling) have been added. They currently award Bachelor of Arts, Bachelors of Science and Associate of Arts Degrees. The student-to-faculty ratio is 17:1. Central Baptist is located in Conway in Faulkner County, AR. Total enrollment at the College is about 335 and student housing is available for 220.
