Texarkana is located in Miller County west of El Dorado, between Lewisville and Nash, Texas along US Hwy 82 on the Texas-Arkansas boarder, near Wright Patman Lake. Texarkana is part of the Texarkana, Texas-Texarkana metro area. Popular attractions throughout the Texarkana area include: Photographer's Island, Scott Joplin Mural, Historic Perot Theatre, Ace of Clubs House Museum (built in 1885), Museum of Regional History and the Discovery Place Museum.
