The Colossal Cave Mountain Park is a beautiful desert park, on the National Historic Register. The park showcases the crystal-filled Colossal Cave and the historic La Posta Quemada Ranch. The park is located just 22 miles east of Tucson. Guests may take cave tours, visit the gift shops, museums, picnicking, and take the western trail rides.

The park's summer hours (March 16 - September 15) are Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Sunday and holidays from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Winter hours (September 16 - March 15) are Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sunday and holidays from 9:00 a.m. until6:00 p.m.
