Hampton Inn Lake Havasu State Park offers beautiful beaches, boat ramps and campsites along the lakeshore as well as secluded, boat-in only campsites along the water's edge. Fishermen at Lake Havasu angle for largemouth bass, bluegill and crappie. Volcanic rock, geodes, jaspers, obsidian, turquoise and agate are all found outside Lake Havasu City, making the park a great location for rockhounds, too. The park's main facility is the Windsor Beach Unit located within Lake Havasu City, about one mile from the London Bridge. Park facilities include 2 day use areas, a campground with restrooms and showers, boat launch ramps, a fishing dock and jetty, walking trail, and small interpretive garden. A quiet time is observed at the campground from 10pm-7am. Summers here are extremely hot; temperatures may easily reach 120 degrees, making water and shade essential for people and pets. Open year-round, entry fee charged.
