Boat-in public camping facilities (accessible only by water) include 125 lakeshore campsites along the Arizona side of Lake Havasu from Lake Havasu City south to the Parker Dam. Most sites have picnic tables, shade ramadas, barbeque grills, pit toilets, and trash cans. The sites are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The user fee for these campsites is two dollars per person, per day. Boat launch ramps are available at Takeoff Point at Parker Dam, Havasu Springs near the Dam on Highway 95, Cattail Cove, and Windsor Beach State Park. Other launch sites are available on the island in Lake Havasu City. There are boating, fishing, camping, and other facilities available on the Chemehuevi Indian Reservation; permits are required.
