Tucson Poetry Festival is an annual celebration that includes emerging and established poets who represent the diverse and eclectic writing approaches of contemporary poetry today. The program comprises a poetry slam, readings, workshops, and presentations by acclaimed poets. Other events connected to the festival are the statewide poetry contest, bilingual high school poetry contest, open microphone readings, and special performances featuring regional talent.
