The public can access recreation along the Colorado River at several day use areas. Most are located along the Parker Dam Road. No fees are charged for use of these sites, except the Bullfrog and Empire areas which require a small fee.
Cable Car features river access with parking, but no facilities.
Quail Hollow has river access, tree-shaded picnic areas, and is a Back Country Byway site.
Bullfrog offers river access, a swimming beach, shaded picnic areas, and pit toilet.
Empire Landing features river access, tree-shaded tent camping areas, outdoor showers and restrooms.
River access is provided at the Rock House Boat Ramp along with a boat launch facility, and a pit toilet.
Bass Point has river access, but no facilities.
River View (in Arizona) also offers river access, a picnic table, and chemical toilets. For more information on these day use areas, contact the Hampton Inn Lake Havasu Field Office of the BLM.
