Sedona Airport (SEZ) serves Sedona and Yavapai County and is owned by Yavapai County. Originally called "Oak Creek Airport" in 1955 when the first planes landed on the mesa top mountain airstrip, the Sedona Airport has a rich history as a rural airport over the years. The paved runway extends for 5,131 feet. The facility is situated at an elevation of 4,827 feet, at a distance of approximately two miles from Sedona, and contains a restaurant and conference room.
