A long narrow lake, usually described as two lakes (Upper Arrow Lake and Lower Arrow Lake), formed by the Columbia River in a narrow valley below Revelstoke Dam. Prior to the construction of the dam near the confluence of the Columbia and the Kootenay River, the water level between the two lakes was distinctly different and a short river connected them.
