Located 30 km SW of Keremeos in the Okanagan Similkameen region, this park offers hikers an exhilarating back-country experience, complete with emerald lakes, alpine meadows, and jagged, snowy peaks. Also in the park are the Keremeos Columns, spectacular basalt formations. Mule deer, mountain goat and California big horn sheep are just a few of the wildlife species found here.
Vehicle access to the park's facilities is restricted. It's a six hour drive into the park's main features. In the centre of the park is Cathedral Lakes Lodge, which will provide four-wheel-drive transport for a fee (must be pre-arranged).
This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
