Virtually at the back door of the city of Vernon, this fine example of north Okanagan grassland is dotted with ponderosa pine and groves of Douglas fir. The spring wildflower show is truly spectacular. The largely undeveloped park is open year round. In summer the beaches attracts boaters and swimmers wanting to find relative seclusion, while in winter, cross-country skiers enjoy its wild beauty. There is no vehicle access to the park.
No camping.
This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
