Known as "The Fruit Stand Capital of Canada", Keremeos boasts more than 25 fruit and vegetable outlets. Here, visitors can tour a working orchard, or see the Grist Mill, built in 1877, and operating again with its machinery still intact. Just west of Keremeos is the Red Bridge of 1911, one of Canada's few covered bridges. Other attractions in the area of the Okanagan Similkameen include the St. Lazo Estate Winery, and Cathedral Provincial Park.
The Keremeos Museum displays its artifacts in an old provincial police jail and Hedley's Museum showcases the Mascot and Nickel Plate gold mines. Main Street is a place to stroll while visiting shops and coffe houses.
