Established in 1924, Kimberley has a strong local membership and is long established with the British Columbia Rockies region as a good test of golf. Towering ponderosa pines, combined with a backdrop of the Purcell Mountains and views of the St Mary's River make an unforgettable setting for this course. Well placed tee shots are required to set up birdie opportunities, as evidenced by the 430-yard par 4 twelfth hole, "Bootleg," which is one of the finest holes in the BC Rockies.
