The park contains a relatively undisturbed area with numerous wetland and small lakes providing habitat for aquatic fur-bearers, waterfowl, and moose.
Winter recreation insluces cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, while in summer, the park is ideal for canoeing. Access to the park is by logging road west of Highway 97.
The park is located west of 100 Mile House.
