On the north bank of the Elk River west of Fernie. Tall cottonwoods shade this pleasant roadside spot. Nearby are old coke ovens, a reminder of the coal mining heritage of the area. This is a day use park with no camping. This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
