Located 750 km (466 miles) by highway northeast of Vancouver, this is the highest point in the Canadian Rockies, at 3,932 metres (12,900 feet). Positioned in the northeastern most part of the High Country region, the mountain's north face can be reached via hiking trails from Highway 16 through the Valley of the Thousand Falls.
This face is visible only from the Berg Lake vicinity, where chunks of Berg Glacier break off and dot its surface. For seasoned hikers there is much more to see, and breathtaking views at almost every turn.
