Spanning Okanagan Lake at Kelowna, the Okanagan Lake Bridge is a unique structure that was officially opened in 1958 and operated as a toll bridge until 1963. The bridge is made up of twelve pontoons spanning 2100 feet and has a lift span of 265 feet that can be raised to provide 60 feet of vertical clearance. It is the only bridge of its kind on Canada and one of the few in the world.
