At the northern end of Premier Ridge in the Hughes Ranges of the Rocky Mountains east of Skookumchuck, the nearest major town to the park is Fairmont Hot Springs.
Premier Lake and the four small lakes within the park have a deserved reputation for quality angling for rainbow and eastern brook trout. There are boat speed restrictions at the south end of Premier Lake. Towing is not permitted. There are 56 campsites but no resrevations. In addition, 14 wilderness/walk-in sites are located in the park.
This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
