Sorrento is well prepared for vacationers, offering stores, marinas, campgrounds, lakefront cabins and many recreational opportunities. Along Hiuihill Bear Creek, hikers can see remnants of an old flume that once transported logs down from the mountains. Other attractions include bird watching, golfing and visiting several interesting historical sites.
Home of the "Shuswap Lake Festival of the Arts", Sorrento can be reached by traveling northeast from Chase along Highway 1 (The Transcanada Highway).
