Swan Lake Kispiox River Provincial Park

Search Visit British Columbia

The park contains a chain of undeveloped lakes, rivers and swamps that contribute to the flow and water quality of the salmon-rich Kispiox River. The closed canopy old growth interior cedar and hemlock forest provides habitat for populations of grizzly and moose.

No gas powered boats are allowed in the waterways, which are excellent for canoeing, fishing and nature appreciation. The park is located 14 km east from km 120 of Hwy 37. The last 8 km is extremely rough.

This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
