The Vancouver Museum contains artifacts from Vancouver and from around the world. Permanent displays feature the archaeology, ethnology, and early settlement of the region's native and immigrant cultures. In addition, there are temporary displays that change frequently, demonstrations, films, lectures, and workshops. There is an admission charged of $8.00 for adult and $5.50 for children. The musuem is open Daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and until 9:00 pm on Thursdays. Located just west is the Vancouver Maritime Museum.
