The Brueghel Museum ishoused in the cozy former residence of Flemish master painter Pierre Brueghel the Elder (1530 - 1569). It celebrates and documents his life and work. Brueghel was a genre and landscape painter, renowned for his powers of observation, his use of delicate lines, his realistic depth of field, and his sensitivity to color. He is best known for his portrayals of everyday life.
