Search Turnhout

The Castle of Hertogen van Brabant was bought by the province of Antwerpen in 1920. Once it was renovated, it began serving as a courthouse for the city of Turnhout. Another set of renovations was completed in 2000.

The sandstone and brick castle has a history dating back to the 12th century, but its current rennaissance appearance is derived from a remodeling in the 17th century.

Location: Kasteelplein, Turnhout 2300
