The museum preserves and interprets Solvang's Danish heritage and its history. Displays in this reconstruction of an 18th-century Danish farmhouse include pre-industrial Danish artifacts and memorabilia, as well as works of art. The museum also features different themed Danish rooms.

The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Museum guides are available for tours upon request. Admission to the museum is free.
