The Museum collects, preserves, and exhibits to the public tangible objects valuable to art and history. The museum features changing exhibitions, including a wide range of contemporary as well as modern works by local, national and international artists. The Fresno Art Museum is the only modern art museum four-county region and provides its residents with both contemporary and modern art in the form of exhibitions, films, concerts, lectures, docent tours, and symposia. The museum has been under expansion and now offers two new galleries and a new gift shop. The museum also features the Fresno Public Theater and concert series in the Bonner Auditorium. The museum is open daily except Mondays, holidays, and one week in August. Admission is charged. Please call for admission times and prices.

The Rio Vista Bass Derby Festival Rio Vista CA October11-13 Rio Vista is proud to host the oldest fishing derby on the West Coast. The festival is a three-day derby for bass, catfish and sturgeon.
