The Hanford Carnegie Museum is housed in the 1905 original Carnegie Library building. This museum offers exhibits and photographs that explore the region's history and growth. Furnishings, clothing and toys help tell the story of the city of Hanford and are on display. It is noted that visiting architects at one time to the city, commented that the Carnegie Museum is thought to be a "best example of Romanesque (style) architecture in the state to California outside the Stanford University Campus"! The museum is open from 10:00 AM TO 2:00 PM, Wednesday through Saturday.
