Dominican University of California (formerlyDominican College of San Rafael) is a small, independent Catholic, liberal arts college 17 miles north of San Francisco on a wooded 80 acre campus.
The College is located in Marin County and has a total enrollment of about 1500.
They offer 26 Undegraduate majors in Arts, Sciences, and two professional programs. Their strengths lie in Business, Biology, English/Writing, International Studies, Education, Psychology, Nursing, and Occupational Therapy.

Athletically, DUC offers intercollegiate competition in women's and men's basketball and soccer as well as women's volleyball. Dominican recently added a women's softball program as well as a cheerleading squad.
