Natividad Medical Center is a 163-bed acute care medical center owned and operated by Monterey County. A 7 member Board of Trustees appointed by the Board of Supervisors oversees day-to-day operations of the medical center. It is a center of excellence for women, children and families with an emphasis on education and outreach.
Affiliated with the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine since 1974, it is the only academic medical center on the Central Coast and host to a nationally recognized Family Practice Training Program, postgraduate training for physicians specializing in the board-certified specialty of Family Medicine. Faculty staff at the medical center, a core medical staff based at the medical center and the residency program afford Natividad patients 24 in-house physician coverage.
Modern, spacious and technologically advanced, Natividad offers an array of primary and specialty care services on campus and at 2 satellite locations.
