The land is now under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service. Within its boundaries are the Fort Point National Historic Site, San Francisco National Cemetery, and Fort Winfield Scott. A visitor center in Building 102 on Montgomery Street at Lincoln Blvd contains displays, maps and brochures. Open-space areas are open 24 hours a day.
