The park offers recreational opportunities all year. Enjoy strolls through some of the world's tallest trees at the Lady Bird Johnson Grove. Maps for mountain bike trails, such as the 11-mile Holter Ridge Bike Trail, can be obtained from any of the park's five visitor centers. Herds of Roosevelt elk can be viewed and the wetlands are rich in bird life. All camping within the park is walk-in. More developed sites are found at Redwood National Park and other private campgrounds in the area.
