Trail Ridge Winery offers a variety of distinctive grape wines, along with Colorado Country Wines, and fruit wines. Most of their grapes are raised in Colorado. The grapes come in two main sources. Vinafera grapes, like Merlot and Chardonnay, are raised in vineyards on the west slope, mainly near Grand Junction. French-American Hybrid grapes, such as Seyval Blanc and Cayuga, are raised on the Front Range near Rocky Ford.
