The non-profit center focuses on long-term research on the 10th-13th century occupation by the ancestral Puebloans, or Anasazi, of the Mesa Verde region. Participation in the high-quality, experience-based learning programs offered here is offered to school students, youth, families and adults. Programs are led by a staff of professional archaeologists and educators, and designed in consultation with Native American advisors. Adult program opportunities include cultural explorations of both ancient and present-day native societies in the American Southwest and Mexico, as well as other countries.
