The Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo is located in southern Colorado. Their campus is located on 300 acres of grass and trees. They work with community mental health centers, specialty mental health clinics and other mental health professionals, patients and their families toward the goal of preparing our patients to return to their homes and communities
They are a team of professionals working together to provide quality care in a supportive treatment atmosphere. Their staff include psychiatrists, medical doctors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, teachers, occupational therapists, recreational therapists, mental health workers, psychiatric technicians, speech pathologists and vocational rehabilitation counselors.
The Institute generally serves the southern and western regions of the state, except the Division of Forensic Psychiatry which serves the entire state for court-ordered criminal admissions.
